Most code readers are OBD II. these will read engine or ECU codes and most will erase codes as well.
ABS codes for the most part need a GM Tech 2. There is also a system called OPCOM that you can buy on eBay and read some other codes, but it is a hit or miss deal. Kind of goofy software and you can play with it and MAYBE get into the ABS codes.
You can get bluetooth connectors on eBay and download various apps.......I am not sure you will get into the ABS computer with these. But they are not expeasive and maybe worth the time that you will invest.
