I did mine as well, just the insert, not a bad job. Just did a friends in a parking lot in 15 degree weather, he had not proactively replaced his, car has 130K. Does anyone know if the submersible line is necessary? A guy at the parts store said "well it's the same rubber inside as outside and the inside is covered in gas all the time". I have no idea if this is valid, I used the submersible but it was a lot more money.
