Air, you need fresh air when doing this. Lots and lots of fresh air.
Do it in the spring time, outside.
I opted for the new fuel pump Bosch kit, which has the entire fuel pump in a box. Highly recommend this over just the insert, having done both.
The PVC pipe with grooves is just a great solution and it worked great for me.
The SS clamps are small to small medium but they cover many diameters anyway. The submersible line was bought on Amazon, BMW line is too stiff.
A foot of line is plenty, which is sold like this on Amazon.
