2003 Saab 9-5 Linear 4 cylinder, manual trans. Drive cycle not ready for smog check.

Was having error code P0116. Replace thermostat and temperature sensor, still unable to set the drive cycle yet? What missing?

Q1: Is my parts correct?
I ordered the parts from eeuropoarts. Temperature "Genuine Saab" and thermostat (89 Deg) "Original Equipment Suppiler". The thermostat looks different than it was, will it cause problem? It was a single vent hole with pin on the thermostat. When install, it should stay on top. The thermostat I receive is Motorad brand. Instead of a single vent hole, it has 3 smaller holes on it. They called it high flow thermostat feature a triple-bridge design. I already installed in my car, is Motorad OK or I should replace it again with single vent hole?

Q2: What steps missing or incorrect to set the drive cycle?
I drove at midnight, started with engine cold. Drove on freeway between 45-55 miles at 4th gear (I use cruise control) for 3 mins. Exit freeway by turn off cruise control without brake, clutch or shift gear. Let it slow down to 25 miles itself. Repeat one more time.
I keep it in 4th gear because I want it slow down to 25 miles sooner, sometime the exit path is not long enough for 50 mi -> 25 mi at 5th gear so I need to brake.

Q3: How to diagnosis additional problem if exists?
If my car has other problem to set drive cycle, how to find out? Since drive cycle not ready and no error codes.

Thank you.
