Unstable on road rut Posted by FrancoisM [Email] (#1149) [Profile/Gallery] (more from FrancoisM) on Sun, 23 Aug 2015 14:35:58 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hello,
- 9-5 aero 2008, 120 kkm.
- Rear suspension is 10mm low
- Camber : -1.3° / -1.6°. (Nominal = 1.1°).
- Original suspension.
- Location : Quebec/Canada.
When crossing road ruts on highway (changing lanes), the car is unstable : it tends to go out from the rut. I must compensate the steering wheel by about 30° left or right. Very annoying. Winter is will be here "soon" : best handling is important.
I had the car aligned twice in the last 12 months. Same unstability.
Rear absorbers seems ok. What are your suggestions?
- Correct the ride height only?
- Update the shock absorber (rear only or 4 wheels)?
- Which model of absorbers?
- Any shipping to Canada (exemple cannot find Koni FSD online in Canada, shipping across the border is usually expensive)
Thanks for your support and suggestions!
Francois
