Re: '99 SE, brake caliper retainer to steering knuckle bolt, 2 per side, SAAB p/n 4940904
This bolt is an M12x1.5x40, class 10.9, hex head w/ flange. I've ordered a new one, but it won't arrive till late next week. Wanting to get my car off the front jacks this weekend, I've stopped at several local hardware and auto parts stores, but so far have come up empty-handed.
Generically, it is similar to this Foersh p/n 1076 12 15 40 and the accompanying narrative indicates it's built to a Mercedes spec. But going through the scores of possible MB end items would easily kill a day.
Does anyone know the part number and auto make/model which use a functional equivalent of the SAAB 4940904 bolt?
