The PCV valve was bad which is why I finally swapped that hose to silicone. At this point, it's probably weeping from the valve cover. Both my 9-5s are a bit wet in various spots. Yet, neither leave any spots.
Is it preferred to replace the valve cover gasket when weeping? An indy saw it not that long ago and seemed to think it didn't matter much. The linked post agrees. I guess at least the engine would be drier and future leaks easier to spot. I have a valve cover gasket and headbolts from when this car first got some noticeable valve cover weeping. I'm not sure I need the headbolts. This is an 03. I've been reluctant to open up the engine for weeping.
