decided to just leave the factory stat in place as it works well and I did change the stat once on my 1999 and kept the factory original so I do have a spare on hand.
On Rock Auto there are maybe a dozen stats listed for use in the 9-5, ranging from 180 degrees to 195 degrees, while on the Hyundai only 180 degrees types are listed. So was wondering if anyone has run a cooler stat in the 9-5 without CEL . A cooler stat might extend life of stuff like batteries, dic, reduce oil seeps, etc. But seems like 192 stat must be used.
With 192 degree stat cabin heat is awesome though.
