SAI Pump??? Posted by Larry West [Email] (#1140) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Larry West) on Tue, 5 Jan 2016 05:53:00 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Patient: 2000 9-5 SE, 175K.
The SAI/Cabin fan fuse has been blowing the past two mornings. I'm suspecting the SAI pump is seized from B Millar's and other posts here.
If I replace the fuse a little while after the engine is started, I'll have cabin heat. But today, it failed during the trip.
So, can TRIONIC command the SAI pump on at any time? That might be what happened today, as I had heat before a stoplight, but not after...
Thinking to disconnect/remove the SAI Pump temporarily. Will need to replace by summer for emissions testing...
12 degrees F today on my 35 mile commute...
