I have a Gary Fisher wagon (17" wheels and body leveling kit). My first reaction would be to leave your Aero suspension alone and not install it. It does not seem to ride harshly with the kit, I'm just not sure how much it helps. As a rep. I carry a decent load of samples, golf clubs, files etc all the time and I have never rubbed the tires, but it looks like it's a little low in the rear when loaded even with the body leveling kit. But here's the clincher for me. When you go to replace shocks with Bilstein's later, you would have to change out the springs again as Bilstein's don't work with self leveling suspension bits. I don't think a trailer is an option - I mean, talk about taking the fun out of driving! A roof box keeps the load fairly centered and really shouldn't make the back end drag.
Do a test before you go, load up and see if you have problems, otherwise, don't do it.
