I've seen brands fold and the owners really got screwed - totally left in the cold. But the Saab (at least the 1999-2009 9-5) comes with a really substantial oversupply of most of the parts we're going to need. My strategy works like this:
1) Don't rely on mechanics when you can do it yourself;
2) It is possible a specific car will be "stuck" with a broken part that's not very available, but if you keep FOUR of the same car, two and maybe three of those 9-5s will have a very long and happy life;
3) If you don't drive much, maybe it isn't the best choice. I drive a LOT of miles in mine;
4) Don't pay too much for them when you get them in the first place. Then you can have a drink and toast the great ride you had with "Billie" or whichever 9-5 gives up the ghost a little sooner than you expected.
Owning and driving Saabs is no longer for everyone. But I see no reason to panic and bail out; none at all.
