How to temporarily disable Passenger Seat Belt warning? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 5 Jun 2016 12:52:06 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My son is borrowing my 9-5 for a couple weeks while his car is in the shop. When his dog rides with him in the passenger seat, with seat protector, the 32 pound dog trips the Passenger Seat Belt Warning and chimes.
When the dog lies down there is no issue, but when standing apparently the PSI beneath his paws is high enough to initiate the alarm. Will the bottom left steering wheel button cancel this alarm temporarily? I have had the same problem with a heavy briefcase or box on the seat.
Thanks,
