in that the 2002 and later cars are about 3 inches longer -- the beam that is welded to the front structure of the car is the same but on the later cars it has longer mounting boxes for more crash crumple zone. If you got a complete early car it would have every thing you need except for the cutting and welding involved. Instrument cluster is the best on 2002 -2005 cars, and the interior components are better too.
