I had HID and HATED them. They generated horrible RFI into the 12vdc electical system. AM radio was impossible to listen to with the lights on. Tried many Ballasts and all the same.
Went through the same thing with HID in my 1973 Porsche....they are so LAST YEAR!
The LEDs are much bright, 30,000+ hours and draw 20-30 watts each bulb.
I solved the warning part by removing the orange relay and bending the C2 pin so it does not insert.....that did it.
Got the tip from another Saab site that has central in the name.
