no start, engine cranking sounds really bad! Posted by inca99 [Email] (#1862) [Profile/Gallery] (more from inca99) on Thu, 28 Jul 2016 10:31:05 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So our neighbor girl used our wagon while we were out of town. The 3rd day, she txtd that it wouldn't start, just died in the driveway. OK, so got home last night and it was on 1/4 tank (so there's gas...) and it's a new DI cassett from Eeuro. However, the battery was almost shot, so she and her brother were probably cranking it til it ran down (nice.) After charging it for an hour, it now cranks, but the sound is really STRANGE - sort of heavy and "grinding," not like the normal smooth cranking before it normally starts. Maybe it needs to charge some more, but it sounds very off. Any thoughts on what I should look at? I am waiting for a call back from her to see what happened before it "died" but it was running perfectly when she dropped us off at the airport. The other fun tidbit is that she didn't even ask to use the car, so who knows where, with who & what she did with it while we were away :/
