Thanks for the reply. I have been researching this and it looks like the 2004 9-5 has a complicated smart chip key system. Are you saying if I get a new key blank cut at the dealer based on VIN this would get me into neutral? Sounds like it will not start the car and likely not deactivate the secondary power to unlock the transmission with out the TWICE authorizing power?
