I replaced 3 from the outside on my 2004. I believe the bumpers are the same, the sensors push in and when put back, they only fit one way (there's a groove). Best to remove the outer trim pieces first, be carful because there is a square clip that easily breaks on either side of the long center molding-holds the outside moldings in place. (I broke mine).
Pry the side molding (use plastic pry tools) from the rear door back.
After this you can pop up the middle strip and get your fingers in there, the outer two sensors are the most difficult to replace, so you should be okay. It is good to have a small allen tool to pull/snap the new sensor in place. The other/better way is to remove the bumper, which I did not want to get into.
