Sure, nothing really problematic about doing the chore.
But, you have to wonder, what made this gasket fail in the first place? How much collateral damage is already baked in?
Given that used 9-5s with no such problems, are so cheap, 9-5s with blown head gaskets for anything but 100% innocent reasons, competing with cheap 9-5s that just need a fuel pump, compete with cheap used 9-5s that just need a CPS or throttle body or DI Cassette.
People are sloughing off perfectly decent, useful 9-5s because they haven't got space for them - those IMO are the ones to concentrate on.
