Just to report that I found a little solution to the antenna problem in my wagon. It was dead easy and it cost me next to nothing. Many of you may know of this but I have to share. Hope it helps someone.
I do a ton of miles in my wagon and the AM radio has been getting really bad - often not usable.
Noticed that the tab connection at the top of the rear side window was broken - likely by a package or something big that had knocked it. Touched it back together as an experiment and it really did not improve much. But I didn't want to get a new window or some other expensive move as a first step so when I found a mention online somewhere about Wire Glue and how it works I ordered it. It was 5 bucks and shipping. Dabbed some on last night, taped it up over night to cure and VOILA!
THE AM RADIO IS LIKE NEW!!!!! Clear as a bell.
Even works out in the boonies again.
I am a very happy camper.
