does it happen in colder weather when the car warms up.. or only in warmer weather? In the warmer weather does it happen immediately or after the car warms up?
It could be many things.. I'd start with the more obvious stuff.. like searching for a vacuum leak.. Then try cleaning the MAF sensor.. check plugs, and clean up throttle body...
If none of those work.. then I would think about the DIC .. Head gaskets are sometimes very obvious.. and sometimes not.. it depends where its leaking. Check the oil for contamination. and check your antifreeze levels.. as those are sometimes issues with a leaky head gasket...
