Perhaps just leave it alone and it will heal itself. Or buy a new battery. My 2005 has had an intermittent SRS light in the past. Sometimes tooting the horn scared it away. Laughable yes, especially if you are me behind the wheel, going down the street tooting my horn to extinguish the light. I think I also bought the spare parts (cable and/or clock spring) but they are the furthest thing from my mind since the problem went away by itself and I fear fixing something that's not broken. Mid-life crisis? Maybe. A few chiropractic lock-to-lock turns, maybe. Automotive electronics work in mysterious ways to me unlike mechanical issues like a leak where you know it won't go away. My two cents from the alternative universe.
