I've got a 2002 Aero wagon (Hazelnut with tan leather) After approximately 20000 kms the leather looks like new with no sign of wear.
As far as using the tires in the winter- I havent tried yet and don't intend to, but having similar tires on other cars (a different version of the Pilots) you can forget about driving in any sort of snow/slush. Can you take another vehicle on snow days?
I don't have the load leveling suspension, but my car seems to be fine- perhaps the wagons you saw did have a load of concrete in the back?
From what I understand there wont be navigation systems available on Saabs in North America until 2004- I know this is true for the new 9-3 and I assume the same holds true for the 9-5
This is my first Saab, so I can't say anything about longetivity, but from what I've seen on this board they hold up pretty well
Good luck on your search- I love my Aero and would recommend it without hesitation.
