Second new tire ? Old one as spare ? Is it the same size & model tire? It's not ideal to have significantly differing diameters or tread depths, but you probably can run it in any position. If tread depth is way off of the other three, there might be wet or snow handling issues no matter where the tire is located.
Do you have a full sized spare? I see you have a Wagon (Sport Combi), and this could be your opportunity to pick up an extra SAAB wheel, swap the most tired of your three 'original' tires onto it, and put it in your wheel well. Then buy a second new tire, and run it on the same end of the car as the other new one. Rotate with the traditional "rears to front", "fronts to back with crossover", and go until you need new tires on one or both ends of the car.
A stock SAAB 9-5 16" alloy with a 215/55/16 tire will fit in the Wagon (Sport Combi) wheel well if you remove the plastic storage tray. Both of my daughters SC's have that arrangement - and "sadly" (or maybe "happily") they have both had opportunity to use their full-size spares. Remember that the space saver spares are only rated for 50 mph (80 kph).
I know this doesn't give you a definitive answer, but it's food for thought.
