You are right, I believe it was my suspension. Two things: I did pay a customs fee of abour $45 when the parts were delivered and save yourself a few bucks and don't have it shipped express.
Before the new suspension, I kept comparing the 9-5 to my 9KT with Konis. I don't anymore. The ride is stiff but not firm. In my mind it was well worth it. The 9KT has been gathering dust ever since.
The car never really pulled for me (torque steer) but I'm not hard on the launch. Since your response I tries a few hard launches and no pull. Nice to know that doesn't change when going up to 280hp!
I'm considering the stage 2 from Hirsch when the car is between 30K and 50K. I know I should wait for the warranty to expire but I may not be able to. If SAAB USA offers parts to retrofit the car it will happen sooner. I would also like the sport seat covers, a JT header, and exhaust.
Keep us posted on your car.
Regards,
gc
