I have been running jeep GC's - most recent a WJ, that I recently got rid of. Considering a honda passport or toyota highlander as replacements. Tired of lousy gas mileage and bad quality components.
I have not drilled any holes in muffler or any exhaust component. The OE system on the jeep lasted 14 years and I replaced with OEM SS parts. I did not drill any 'weep' holes, even though it is tempting to do this to allow condensate to run out. Funny thing, that is about the only thing on the jeep that lasted that long, but that is another story.
Seems that for the saab, the aftermarket parts prevail. Not sure where any of them come from or their composition. Time to roll the dice I guess.
