Hmm.
I've got a 2006 9-5 wagon, supposedly the same suspension as yours, and I'm just now thinking about replacing shocks in the back at 210,000 miles. The ride height in the back has been maintained on this wagon, better than any of my three 2004 and older sedans. Carrying loads. I thought maybe Saab had finally got the rear suspension right, for 2006. My stock rear shocks still keep the car at a nice ride height, there's just a loss of refinement and control.
I will add, I don't run 235x45x17 tires on this car EXCEPT with some ASA aftermarket wheels, with a different, wider offset. Otherwise I run 225x45x17 but even though I've loaded this thing up, I've never experienced this inside rear tire rub on the wagon(which could be bad, for instance on my '04 Aero sedan in stock form).
Did Saab change this after 2006 or 2007? I don't think so.
