Bearing brand usually doesn't matter (if it's well known). As I said before: those are special design bearings in standard size. Therefore many shops are wrongly selling standard industrial bearings, like 6303-2RS for this purpose, which are not designed to work in such harsh conditions - yes, they will rotate for a "long while" (usually about one year) but then they will seize. This is demanding application and standard bearings cannot work here long, as their specification, like rotation speed, max. work temperature, and axial load will be seriously exceeded. So, do not buy a standard bearing, even when a bearing shop gives here a cross reference to it (and they usually do, checking only size - usually because of lack of knowledge). That's why I recommend the easiest fail-safe way - go to the Bosch dealer and buy from them.
Next thing is the rebuild shop warranty, as pme said - to avoid misunderstanding it's good to talk with them before you supply them anything. I would simply agree with them required quality of components, as they often use the cheapest ones. That's why rebuild parts have somewhat bad reputation.
Other solution is to buy a remanufactured alternator from a reputable source. This is the fastest way in terms of car's availability.
