Hi,
Intermittent ABS activation on dry pavement could be due to various issues. Unevenly worn tires, wrong size tires, split reluctor ring, wheel abs sensor, fault in the electrical conductor(s) or in a worst case ABS module going "south"
If you are able to acquire Tech2 - perform dynamic brake and have your friend look at data from four wheel sensors. It may help to narrow things down.
Cheers,
