I did bring it to Boston Volvo a year ago when the gear wearing light came on and they said it was a p01774 code I believe. They called it the code of death. They did a transmission fluid flush for $300 and told me if that light comes back on the car is not worth repairing because it would cost around $5,000 for the repair. It ran fine then I had a radiator hose blow right above the transmission so I had my local mechanic which doesn’t work on Saabs repair it and it ran fine for a week. Then I took it out a week later and every light on the dash light was lit up including the gear light. Then the transmission started to slip so I had to drive it 10 miles to get it home. By the time I got home it would barely move and he rpm’s where high. I have no idea what happened. I thought maybe antifreeze got into the transmission some how after the hose. Blew. I live in Foxboro Ma .
