Hi,
I'd like to add to Paul's advice. This is where I would start the troubleshooting process.
Allow for various modules to go to sleep, and throw on a clamp meter to Positive Battery terminal wire/conductor, set clamp to DCA mode and read off total current draw. Write down number on piece of paper.
Then I would remove screw holding driver door (curtesy light switch ) on B pillar for door lights to diminish (fooling car that doors are closed) again, allow various modules to go to sleep, but this time you will have driver's side door open which will give you access to most fuses by the driver's side door there. With a test light, check for active circuits and/or modules which have not went to sleep and draw current. I would do the same with the fuse/relay box in the engine compartment and another electrical block underneath the dash. This way you can isolate one module/circuit at a time.
In your scenario, I am leaning toward a short to ground somewhere. I would also check Starting/Charging system as well. Have an electrical diagram in front of you and do some probing.
Best of luck,
Ro
