I haven't tried using my Chinese Tech II on A/C programming. Our 2004 9-5 Arc just came back from shop for pricey clutch job and A/C hadn't been working before. The shop owner said the schraeder valves (like at tires) at High and Low side ports are usually to blame for leakage. When I took the cap off the Low side to add refrigerant, indeed there was some slight momentary bubbling! Under the hood, the label for the A/C system shows 825 grams for refrigerant charge. I was well into the second 340 gram can of no-name R-134A I usually buy from WalMart (or even Ollie's) before the high speed fan kicked on and things started to get cooler inside. My Harbor Freight pressure gauge set ended up showing about 250 psi High Side and cycled down when fan went off and rose back when fan kicked in. Dashboard outlet temp was about right at 7 degrees C (44 degrees F) so we'll see how long this lasts.
Did notice weird interior blend door noises and resetting ACC with simultaneous pressing Off and Auto buttons did not bring up anything but 1/19 Codes, but air is cold for now.
