The TCM arrived from Utah with zero warranty. $140. I plugged it in last night and turned on the key. SAAB powered up with a P0780. Valve Body. I cleared the error and started up the car. Went for a short drive and the 2-3 shift had a lot of delay. It seemed like the replacement TCM was learning to shift. So is this the solution to my transmission woes? I will have to get the TCM back in the bracket. Wish I'd taken a picture so I know how it was mounted n that bracket. We really won't know if the transmission is OK until we drive a good contiguous 100 miles, give or take. We will carry the Innova 3160e Code Reader because if the transmission faults, we can hardly go until the code is cleared. Saabnet has an amazing group of people here that really want to help out and I thank you all very much. I will add more updates as I know more.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
