Couple of thoughts -
Removing bumper - aren’t the backs of the headliamp assemblies accessible by removing the battery and MAF, without removing the bumper and headlamps? That’s the case in my 2003, and a quick look at the 2007 manual it looks somewhat similar.
(1) I have had good success with Flosser D1S units I believe I last bought from eEuro. Not sure if they are still available. I ended up with Philips a couple months back when one of the Flossers finally failed.
(2) Replacing bulbs that are on the CANBUS with LEDs can generate bulb failure warning messages due to the lower resistance. Fog lights would be on the CANBUS (I know my rear fog light was and I received the message).
(3) I have replaced a few bulbs with LED - license plate, trunk light, door “down lights” and the brightness is nice. I am not sure that I would do the dome lights - I think the light would be harsh as well as IIRC, the lights dim on and off and I am not sure if that requires anything special in an LED bulb versus standard. I also replaced the peanut parking lamps in the headlights with LEDs. They did not cause any errors message and are a sufficient PITA with large hands I am happy they are done
(4) I would think that you have the high-beam bulbs already to enable flash-to-pass. There was a relay available (Bosch 101E100012) that was a plug-n-play replacement that accomplished the “666” modification. I am not sure if still available; I installed one a number of years ago and find it great - when Xenon’s are on, and high-beam is switched on, the Xenon’s go to high beam and the halogens also illuminate. May be worth a search to see if it saves you some work (assuming thats the mod you are trying to do).
Sorry for the lack of links - good luck
