I can't disagree with this sentiment... The ng9-5 is a totally different car than the og9-5, and probably it would make more sense to combine it with other unique late model year Saabs that share more commonality in parts and repair strategies. I think mixing repair posts of the new and old models would be akin to mixing repair posts for c900 and ng900, and cause confusion for the uninitiated...

Ultimately, many of the models are becoming more obscure. I have people coming up to me all the time now intrigued by my 2005 9-5 wagon as though it is some sort of unicorn classic. I tell them I have another and a couple c900s in the garage...
