usually it's the green plastic roller that has broken... dirt cheap part... order a few.. .
then go to youtube and do some searches for "saab 9-5 window roller fix" , etc... as there are a few really good videos to walk you through it..
as mentioned, check the bottom cavity . to see if the rubber piece has fallen off, and make sure when inserting the arm back into the green roller, that you give it a good squeeze with channel locks to hear that 2nd snap, indicating it's fully engaged. I think the trickiest part is making sure you set the glass back properly in the tracks..
