You can have them turn off the seat belt warning chime - the red warning light, however, still works (I always put on my seat belt anyway, and it annoys me having to listen to the chime if I - or my passengers - decide to put on the belt after turning on the ignition).
And whatever you do ... get rid of that awful honking whenever you lock the doors / turn on the alarm! Unless you want everyone in your neighbourhood to egg the car in retaliation for being woken up whenever you come home late ...
