Ian's information is basically correct. You must be US active duty or military retired. For military IDS, your order has to be placed with a stateside Saab dealer. My order was acknowledged by Saab IDS on 6Sept02 and my 2003 Aero left Gothenburg,Sweden bound for the USA on 7Oct02. It arrived at Port Hueneme, CA on 4Nov02 and sat there until 29Nov02 waiting for Swift Transport to move it. You do not pay any shipping charges or dealer preparation and the $500 Saab owner loyalty DOES apply, in addition to the 9% discount. Hope this info helps.
