Since I never received the "Use Active CGM to view all TIF files, Y/N?" question when loading my CD, I am looking at that problem.
So far have discovered that Active CGM is a program written by MicroGrafix, which has been recently bought by Correl!!
Since Correl is a direct competitor of Micro-Soft in both operating systems (Linux) and Office Suites, my guess is that Service Pack 1 disables all Active X controls/programs. Active CGM Viewer is a free viewing only program contained within Active X Controls.
I have located sites which offer free downloads of Active CGM and wil attempt to load them on my home machine tonight. First though I will look through the Internet Explorer settings to see if SP1 disabled the Active X controls there. If so, I may only need to check/uncheck the ofending box.
I will post my results, successful or otherwise.
