First, open the hood and look at the coolant expansion tank (blue, over driver side wheel.) There will be a wire and sensor on the side of this tank. If fluid level is above this sensor, stuck sensor is causing the code.
Second, you will know if the cap is not sealing by looking for green/blue water deosits on hood or around the expansion tank. You could also start the engine and let the engine heat up. When the thermostate opens, the coolant will heat up and expand, pushing coolant out of the expansion tank cap. Caps are about $25 at the dealer.
Third, see #2 except follow from the expansion tank the hoses and metal clasps around the engine. There may be a loose or broken hose. Evidence of dried coolant may be enough to locate the problem spot, or you may have to start the engine and look for drips. Check the radiator, too.
Best of Luck--check NG900 list for other coolant loss spots, water pump, heater core, thermostate gasket, etc. if you are a do it yourselfer.
