I have been waiting with baited breath for the formal Canadian pricing info
on the Volvo S60R and the Audi S4.
After over 10 years in a Saab and the last 5 in 2 varieties of 9-5's I am getting close to looking for a replacement for my leased 2001 9-5 Aero.
Living in a Rural (country) setting and driving 56 km one way every day my main priorities are comfort, spirited driving and in the winter a car that will not leave me stranded in 2 inch of snow (sorry BMW drivers), so after the last 2 winters of driving a FWD Aero equiped with superb winter tyres I must admit that the sounds of a AWD 300hp Vovlo S60R, or a AWD 344hp Audi S4 or starting to sound very attractive.
Yes I realise that the Volvo will be about $60G and the Audi closer to $70G (CDN) but after watching that stupid TCS light flash at me everytime it feels like it and not being able to get up a slope of more than 10 degrees without the TCS system engaging all the bloody time I for one will be paying close attention to the Audi and Volvo news releases over the next few months.
I love My Aero, but FWD + snow + gobs of power do not mix.
Cheers, Manumad
