Car has 36K miles and I know the pads are almost gone. The brakes are loud now. Not squealing yet but can feel that they are almost gone.
I'm assuming that I need to do something to the rotors.
Can they be machined?
Reading this boards it seems that everyone just replaces them. Are they manufactured for a one time use? Not enough metal?
Where can I find what the OEM min. thickness is for these? I do realize that rotors can be had for $160 but a lathe costs me nothing.
I plan on getting the EBC greenstuff pads.
Thanks in advance.
