Didn't you have the faulty O2 sensor ? Was this not covered under x warranty?
Some posters put the x warranty question in the perspective of a gamble.
I agree.
For me, I can fix a whole lot of stuff without incurring the labor costs, and parts are not that costly from non dealer sources. But if I did not have that capability, I'd be behind the wheel of a less thrilling but oh so reliable Japanese auto. If I did have a Saab though and was unable to DIY, I'd give serious consideration to the x warranty.
But given that a whole lot of stuff has broken and been replaced, and you have gotten $ 1000 of repair from the warranty, might not be a bad idea to just get your money back.
Did all those things really break on your car ? That beats my 9-5 repair record, which has been less than stellar. All fixed under 50K mi warranty, and a goodwill on the DI at 59K. Except for the inconvenience of going to a dealer, I hold no lasting gripes regarding these quality issues.
