come to the dark side :-).
Can't fault the Audi line especially if you are lucky enough to get a reasonably trouble free one. The 9-5 is definitely bigger, inside and outside. My last Audis were the old 5000/100 series.
There are a few things you need to watch out for, but as suggested, you need to have the car checked out regardless. The "SID" is the digital display unit inside the car, and is similar to Audi's A4/A6 digital information display, can lose some of the display pixel lines.
The DI cassette can be an issue, this is similar to VW's direct ignition coil. Not sure why the newer 9-5s have more problems than the older 900 and 9000 series. A new one is about $300+ and when it goes, the car goes no where.
Other than that, there really isn't much worth mentioning if the car has been properly maintained or if it is certified used with a warranty.
I would suggest going through some prior posts and you would see many posts similar to yours. You can also pick up a feel on what you may get into.
We are a bit low-key here. Instead of people posting about cosmetics such as what type of wheels or lights to buy, we tend to focus more on the car itself and technical problems.
Oh, if you want to chip the Aero, there are Swedish tuners. You can buy a new computer and you have more power and torque at a reasonable price. Saab may not have as many aftermarket tuners as Audi/VW, but we do have enough of them to make anyone busy.
Good luck in your search.
