I can't vouch for the specs on the power consumption, etc., but I can say that I've had no issues running my heater all night long, every night below freezing this past winter in Buffalo, NY. This is on an '01 2.3 4-cyl.
The temp gauge is always approx 1/6th the way up on ignition and empirically, at least, the idle feels smoother on startup as opposed to when I'm somewhere else overnight, with no 110V outlet!
