Brake Dust Experiment (RejeX)-We Have Failure

Hello All,
A few weeks ago I mentioned a product named RejeX that was supposed to help in the removal of brake dust. Overall I would call the experiment a failure. With the product some of the brake dust does wash off with normal hose pressure, however perhaps only 30% is removed. This is of minimal usefulness since one still has to go through normal wheel washing to get clean wheels.
Another unexpected result is the brake-dust encrusted wheels look even worse! Not sure why, but instead of a healthy coating of dust, it looks more splotchy and oily. And, of course, the stuff is expensive at $20 plus shipping.
I did find a good use for the product. It puts a beautifully shine on window glass (I did all windows inside and out). It also appears to work like Rain X, however the wiper glide across the window smoothly, unlike Rain X which seems to make wipers 'chatter'. When applied to the paint it does add a nice wet look (and bugs and bird droppings rinse off), however swirl marks and fine scratches are not hidden.
Overall I am pleased with the product, but don't expect it to do much for your wheels.
