SID's on sale and Spring Strut Codes...

To everyone who is in current need of a replacement SID because the weather-stripping repair didn't eliminate their problem, remanufactured SID's are now available at a savings of over $100USD from normal "new part" price. Check with site sponsors.
I asked Nick at Taliaferro about availability of Saab Roadholding Kits as a source of replacement shocks and as a suspension upgrade (shocks, springs, and sway bars in one kit). He said that they should be carrying them soon (currently not available in the States) with instructions on deciphering your suspension code. Four kits are available from European sources; two each for sedan and wagon, saloon and estate across the pond. Kits vary depending on spring strut code. My '00 lpt sedan uses a spring strut code of "2" and I would guess that SE's use the code "3". Aero's appear to be a completely different animal with two digit alpha codes for their spring struts.
