Tomorrow, I head to Roberti Saab to pick up my 2000 certified SE Wagon. Its the first nice car my wife and I have ever gotten (we're coming to the Saab from a very used 1992 Subaru Loyale)
Being a new owner, are there any things that I should look out for?
The car has about 35K miles and has its regular service updates. From the records, I can see that initially it was serviced at Zumbach, in NYC, where they replaced a microprocessor, a switch for an electric adjustable seat and a T-7 emission recall.
I figure that becuse the car was already serviced, and is under warranty, I really don't have much to worry about.
It was then serviced by the Saab Dealer in Greenwich, CT, who performed 30,000 mile service, but also fixed the electrical system "based on customer complaint." (It doesn't get more specific).
Most likely, because I live in NYC, I will have the factory service performed at the same dealer in Greenwich, CT (which I've heard good things about on this site).
I've read the group, and it seems like I'm in good hands going to Roberti. However, I'm wondering if any owners of these models have any feedback about anything I should be aware of; particularly interesting features, specific oil to use, etc....?
This site has been very helpful in helping us make a decision
Thank you
