Well, King D, I'm not goiing to take this dialog any further down hill than you seem to want to with all these blind accusations of stopping on the on ramp, watching TV etc. Perhaps you can just re read my last post and ask yourself why you decided not to answer my question in that one. You claim that EVERYONE knows that the speeds progressivly get higher from the right lane to the left lane. In that case, what is the speed that can be legally driven in that left lane? Are you trying to say that it is whatever you feel like? Don;t get me wrong,I'm nottrying to say that under every situation and on every day, you can never ever exceed alimit, but to think that just because you feel like going faster and someone happens to be in that lane going the legal speed, that you are in some way "entitled" to have them move over for you would not pass muster in ANY legal jurisdiction in this country. By the way, I do not have a TV in the dash of my car,and routinely put the hammer down when entering a highway to accelerate up to legal speed as quick as possible( providing the lane I am planning on entering is clear). Why must your way of making your point be written in such a derogatory manner? The only reason I wrote a rebuttal to you in the first place was the way you just plain bad mouthed the first poster who did put that fancy electronics system in his car. You can certainly critique it,and personally,I agree with you that displays like DVD video have no place in a car where the driver can see them. The rest of what he did, the XM radio particularly, interested me a lot. If you care to answer in a more civilized manner, perhaps you can write and justify how those speed limits do not apply to you personally just because you have taken a professional driving course. There is noting on any of our licenses that state that we get a "get out of jail" card for doing so. I'm sure that the people who taught the course were trying to teach you to be a better handler of your car, and mostly, to use better judgement on the roads. The courses I have taken were taught that way, not to encourage me to go out and prove that my buggy is faster than your buggy.
