Spoke with my salesman Matt Treadway at Hunt Valley Saab ,Maryland.He said they have 17 ecu/spark plug sets in stock-had 20.Their price is $795 installed-$700 to buy over the counter.Matt said he would be happy to ship to your location and you have your dealer install to retain warrenty.It should require about an 1 1/2 hours to install.
This ECU will work on any base SAAB motor-including:170hp & 185hp.
Matt said they installed one in the dealer wife's 170hp 9-5 and was impressed with power increase.
The way I understand the ECU is mainly adding more turbo boost for hp increase and should not affect gas mileage,which with the way gas prices are getting is important.
