Installed Saab Sport Exhaust (square tip) a couple of weeks ago in my 1999 2.3 5-spd. (70k miles), along with J/R sport filter, both from Taliaferro (great service)--very pleased!

Don't much feel the 5 extra HP, but what a difference in flexibility! The upper rev range (4-6k) has really opened up. The engine goes there freely now. In comparison, it felt choked before, crawled up the range. The newfound flexibility makes acceleration and shifting much more smooth and natural. I also feel like I have more options on the road, having this easy access to the entire rev range, rather than feeling forced and tight at the top.

Plus, the chrome tip looks great. (Did I notice the same tip on a yellow Viggen yesterday? Maybe it's standard on the Viggen?)

Overall eval: big smile, definitely recommended.
